HeronBridge is a small consulting firm based in unceded Kwakwaka'wakw territories on the coast of British Columbia. For 20 years we have worked at the leading edge of climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction in B.C., specializing in participatory and collaborative processes for building community resilience and becoming adaptive. Our work focuses on awareness and capacity-building, bringing innovative engagement approaches to trainings, experiential workshops, collaborative planning processes and risk assessments. We work with clients and partners in Indigenous governments and organizations; local, regional, provincial and federal governments; multi-sector and regional collaboratives; non-profits and community organizations.
The project partners and participants featured in this short video really do tell the story of what makes this work different and why we do what we do. As Jan puts it "If we do the right thing, there is a blessing possible..." With gratitude to Monica, Pamela, Cedar, Jan, Cari and the many others off camera who made this project one of the highlights of our work to date.

Our processes are designed to produce clear, actionable deliverables while simultaneously enhancing the capacity and knowledge of all participants involved.

Coaching and process design to integrate best practice for effective collaboration on place-based priorities.

Innovative training, facilitation and engagement sessions to support capacity and awareness building across diverse perspectives.
