HeronBridge is a small consulting firm based in unceded Kwakwaka'wakw territories on the coast of British Columbia. For over 15 years we have worked at the leading edge of climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction in B.C., specializing in participatory and collaborative processes for building community resilience and becoming adaptive. Our work focuses on awareness and capacity-building, bringing innovative engagement approaches to trainings, experiential workshops, collaborative planning processes and risk assessments. We work with clients and partners in Indigenous governments and organizations; local, regional, provincial and federal governments; multi-sector and regional collaboratives; non-profits and community organizations.
Led by HeronBridge Consulting in partnership with an amazing team of collaborators and funded by Natural Resources Canada, the CoNext Climate Preparedness Hub aims to better equip local leaders with understanding, resources and connections to more confidently address the complex challenges of climate change impacts for our communities.
